LOGO DESIGN GOALS: Take a look at the rough concept sketches on the left-hand side of this CMG slide. The sketches show how we explored ideas for combining the local moutains with CMG's letters. The client also wanted us to give his logo a "can do" attitude with a bold show of confidence and strength. 

LOGO DESIGN NOTES: The iconic Flatirons are formations near Boulder, Coloado. We've used their infamous zig zag shape to connect CMG with its location while also using the graphic shape to an even more recognizable shape - that of a market trend. And since we all love it when mortgage market rates are down, we've used a downward triangle to emphasize Colorado Mortgage Group's ability to give its clients low rates.

When the school opened, the students chose the phoenix as their mascot (see the inspirational art they drew for us). More recently, NWCA had us design a real mascot logo for the school. They asked specifically for it to be: A phoenix in flight; mascot-worthy; youthful and inspirational; and fun for ages K-6. Visit the NWCA site.
