Mortgage Company Logo for CMG
Colorado Mortgage Group invests in their mortgage company logo and branding
Colorado businessman David Burson [good friend, family man and proprietor of Colorado Mortgage Group] chose DesignWise Art to develop his mortgage company logo for branding his business.
Creating a mortgage company logo presents a challenge because the market is highly competitive. Our process is explained below and we’ve included the rough sketches to show how we developed this particularly satisfying mortgage company logo design. Thank you David for trusting us with your branding.
First, we found the target.
After meeting with David by phone from our Portland, Oregon design studio, we were able to get a sense of his logo design goals. Take a look at the rough concept sketches on the left-hand side of this CMG slide. The sketches show how we explored ideas for combining the local mountains with CMG’s letters. The client also wanted us to give his logo a “can do” attitude with a bold show of confidence and strength.
Then we all took aim.
Luckily, the iconic Flatirons (which are formations near Boulder, Colorado) were completely at our mercy. In almost no time at all we managed to adapt their infamous zig zag shape so that it connect well with the CMG letters. And then we had the bright idea of letting them look like a first cousin of a market trend symbol. Of course David’s clients want to know he can get them low mortgage rates, so we included a downward facing triangle to make the point, quite literally.
Take a look! You can see David’s Colorado Mortage Group logo at work on his website. Feel free to speak with the owner, David Burson for his personal review of our graphic design services.
HOW MUCH DID THIS LOGO COST? Not as much as you might think. We can’t very well share our logo design rates online, but we’ll be glad to hear about your business goals, talk with you about the cost of CMGs logo and give you a free logo design estimate fast. Contact Amy today! 503.590.0186
WHAT DO I GET? When you’re happy with your new logo, you get it in many useful formats (JPG, PDF, EPS, PNG, etc) in full color and high contrast (B&W). We frequently provide a wide, horizontal version too (for websites).
You’ll file formats for your website, social pages, printed projects, shirts and signage. You also get a copy of the original files(usually in Illustrator). We keep a complete back-up too in case you need help knowing what format to send or want to hire us to create new marketing materials (free estimates!).
AREN’T GRAPHIC ARTISTS A BIT UPPITY? Graphic designers do have a rather grand reputation of being lux, inflexible and aloof. None of this behavior fits our style. Our boutique home studio is small and nimble, like Mighty Mouse. It is our greatest goal to champion our clients with effective, affordable marketing materials without stressing them out. Which is why we take all calls in person.
